Britney is Out and Everyone has Something to Say
By C.C. | January 5, 2008

Britney Spears checked herself out of Cedars Sinai Hospital this morning. Shocking right? Not really, apparently the docs at Cedars no longer think that she is a threat to herself. Dr. Phil on the other hand, thinks that Britters is in ‘dire need’ of medical and psychological attention. The Doctor turned talk show host visited Britney at the hospital today just before she left and had this to say about Spears,
“My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention. She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.”
Word on the street is that Monday’s Dr. Phil episode is going to be all about Britney Spears…TIVO!

I’ve always said one of the major failures of recovery facilities is that they can’t hold you against your will. There comes a point when you REALLY want to leave, and if they give you the opportunity to leave, of course you will. The idea that someone like Britney isn’t a threat to herself is absurd. For once, Dr. Phil and I agree.

My lil sis works at C-S, but unfortunately, not on the 5th floor. I would have loved to hear that actual convo.
