Queen Latifah Is Engaged to a Woman

This one is rumor until proven guilty. Reports that the Covergirl queen is finally coming out the proverbial closet have started to spread. After nearly 4 years of dating, she is said to have popped the question to her girlfriend, Jeanette Jenkins. Currently the Queen is working on some press for her latest film, “The Perfect Holiday.” She and Jeanette are waiting until she has finished her promos to announce their plans of a commitment ceremony. Should this actually happen, it will also be Latifah’s official “coming out.”
In October she sat down with “People” magazine and refused to give any information on her private life. Latifah stated that she doesn’t feel the need to share it and didn’t think she ever would. Jeanette was her personal trainer…end of story. Rumors of their on-and-off dating made headlines last year when they reportedly broke up. Obviously the two have kissed and made up.
Looks like I need to stop at Target and see what is on their registry.
