Megan Gale the New Wonder Woman

Megan Gale is going to be playing Wonder Woman in a new theatrical release of the Justice League.

Australian model Megan Gale has been cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League movie, beating out Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, and even Erica Campbell, all of whom were reportedly considered for the role.
Those of us of a certain age grew up watching Lynda Carter play Wonder Woman on television. Carter’s still beautiful but, alas, at 56 years old she’s a bit past her days of throwing lassos while wearing spangled unitards.
UPDATE (Cara): Gale will be acting along side Adam Brody, who will be taking on the role of The Flash, along with Zoe Kazan as Iris Allen. Not to mention she gets to romp around with Armie Hammer who has scored the part of Batman. (You probably know Armie from “Desperate Housewives” …think Mike’s dealer.)
At 32 she has taken a role that had A-list competition list that grew by the day. Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Erica Campbell and even Teresa Palmer were all in the running for the Wonder Bra queen.The Austrialian model is still new to the movie scene, so doubts have already been raised as to her talent. Before joining the “Justice League” she appeared in a small part in the movie “Stealth.” Megan also scored a larger role in “Stregata Dalla Luna,” which is an Italian film.
The green eyed face for David Jones has even made several appearances on television. She was a guest reporter for a travel based show called “Getaway.” When she isn’t tooting her didgeridoo, an Australian wooden pipe, she is busy as the National Ambassador for the Kids Help Line. Gale was recently at the heart of a rumored bitch-fest with her fellow model and enemy Jennifer Hawkins. She now has the ultimate revenge of success. The two were fighting over the campaign front for the David Jones campaign, but made up and blew air kisses to seal the deal last month. Seems to me like she has the credientials. Gorgeous, legs that go for miles, glamazon and defender of her label. What else do you need in a Wonder Woman?
