Lauren Conrad’s Worst Nightmare! Kristin Cavallari Joins The Hills

Spotted entering the NBC building recently, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County alum Kristin Cavallari is reportedly set to join the cast of reality TV’s The Hills - and won’t LC be super stoked about thaaat!?
Enemies since 2003, Laguna Beach and Hills star Lauren Conrad (who previously dated Hills co-star Brody Jenner, as did Cavallari, and who previously dated Laguna Beach co-star Stephen Colletti, as did Cavallari) might not only have Heidi to worry about in the new season of the popular MTV real-life drama as Cavallari is said to be “seriously considering” the show’s offer. And she should, seeing as how her ambitions for a film and TV career went absolutely nowhere.
However according to E!Online, sources predict Cavallari will accept the gig, particularly considering the media attention The Hills has received in comparison to her Laguna Beach. While nothing has been made official, I for one, can’t wait to see the hair extensions fly!
In other Hills news, the new season is said to be the last, at least for Conrad who plans to “leave reality TV behind and focus on [her] fashion line”, however it may just be the beginning for co-star Whitney Port who is reportedly in negotiations for her own spin-off show. Though TEEN VOGUE is said to “want to cut it’s ties with the show”, Port’s reality series may be focused on her life in fashion as a fashion contributor for the magazine. No news for a-list wannabes Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge though. It seems nobody wants to take on the talentless duo because, well, there really isn’t a career to work on now is there?

Further proof that the “reality” show is totally staged. You don’t “cast” someone for a show that purports to simply follow someone’s life and record it. You allow them to meet people, and add to the cast that way.
Why don’t they just sell scripts on eBay?
