Women Say Copperfield Not Capable of Rape
By Tina | November 2, 2007
Two women say they think David Copperfield uses his magic to pick up women, but they don’t think he’s capable of rape.
Karina Halle and Amanda Heidl both told Inside Edition they felt they had both been chosen to assist in magic tricks so Copperfield could hit on them.
Heidl told IE:
“I do think that David Copperfield uses his show to pick up women. He was creepy and strange, but I don’t think that David is capable of being a rapist.”
Halle agreed:
“I wouldn’t like to think that. He should just give us more magic and less of ‘I’m David Copperfield, sex God.”
Halle also added that she felt uncomfortable when she was brought on stage:
“He put his arm around me and whispered in my ear and told me to grab his butt.”
