This WTF Moment of the Day is awarded to Cate Blanchett for this awful feathered shoes. I mean, that bow on her shoulder is hideous, and the shoes are still worse. I feel so bad for the 19 baby black birds that were killed for ugly shoes.

Cate wore this get up to a special screening of Elizabeth The Golden Age in NYC. And I’m not sure why no one she saw on the way to the screening stopped her and stole her shoes to put her out of her misery. Maybe she cut a deal with Naomi Campbell to help her in her community service quest to dust the streets of NYC. The only explanation I can think of. Seriously, Cate, WTF?
