Woody Harrelson and Oliver Stone Re-Team For “Pinkville”
Woody Harrelson is once again reuniting with his previous director on “Natural Born Killers,” Oliver Stone, for the war drama, “Pinkville.”
The Hollywood Reporter announced today that Harrelson and co-stars Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum are slated to star in the film, which is based on the 1968 My Lai Massacre with production beginning sometime in 2008.
Harrelson will play Col. Henderson, an officer in charge of the task force that committed the massacre, while Willis has been cast as William R. Peers, the Army general who investigated the massacre and Tatum will play Hugh Thompson Jr., an heroic Army helicopter pilot who aided the villagers and later testified against the soldiers involved.
