Kiefer Sutherland Will Serve Jail Time
Kiefer Sutherland didn’t make it to the hearing earlier today, but his attorney Blair Berk did – and entered a no contest plea on the actors’ behalf in Los Angeles regarding one count of drunken driving.
This isn’t the first time Sutherland has been smacked with DUI charges. Back in 2004, the actor pleaded no contest when he was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a .22 blood alcohol level and was sentenced to five years probation.
TMZ notes that Sutherland has now violated that probation and will do 18 days for the probation violation, as well as serve an additional 30 days for the current DUI.
Sutherland is expected to be sentenced on December 21.
