Ben Affleck Blames Jennifer Lopez for His Crappy Career

Ben Affleck, on the cover of the August issue of Details magazine, said that dating Jennifer Lopez and co-starring in movies with her, was the downfall of his career.
“It was probably bad for my career (dating JLo). What happens is this sort of bleed-over from the tabloids across your movie work. You go to a movie, you only go once. But the tabloids and internet are everywhere. You can really subsume the public image of somebody.
I ended up in an unfortunate cross hair position where I was in a relationship and [the media] mostly lied and inflated a bunch of salacious stuff for the sake of selling magazines. And I paid a certain price for that. Then, in concert with some movies that didn’t work…”
hahahaha, ha ha! You know what… he’s right.

Crappy career? He was nominated for a GOLDEN GLOBE for hollywoodland and won for best actor in venice.He’s doing good in his career.I don’t know why they always have to bring up JLo.That’s ancient history .He happily married now

Ben should get over it!! Ben did not even know Jlo when he first chose the role in Gigli. He is full of shit. Ben had movie flops because he chose them it has nothing to do with Jlo. What happens when he flops in the future , who will he blame? His Wife!!!

The reality behind Affleck’s comments that his career downfall is to blamed on his relationship with J-Lo, News flash: his career was never a hit from the beginning, start with his looks, Lopez brougth a sexy appeal to his style, well needed. Yeah good old fashioned all american, Tom Boy and yet so boring, Garner, doesn’t make Affleck sit out anymore than he did with Lopez. Get it right, the negative plubicity has to do with such a racist country against interracial dating, that Affleck wasn’t man or strong enough to hanlde it. He knows he still craves that ethnic booty.
