ANTM’s Plus-Sized Model Is NOT Plus-Sized

ANTM’s Plus-Sized Model Is NOT Plus-Sized - PIC

Last night, “America’s Next Top Model” premiered, and every year there are one or two “plus-sized” girls in the mix also, I guess, to try and make things more interesting. But this year’s plus-sized girl is Sarah, and she is NOT plus-sized! I mean, look at her. She looks normal. When did normal-sized girls turn into plus-sized girls? I know models are deathly skinny, but to call Sarah plus-sized just seems wrong. Come on, Tyra. It’s nice to see girls that are more than a size 2 on the show, but why do the producers think all those girls wear Huskeroos? This is why little girls get eating disorders.

Tyra actually said that this girl isn’t plus size, she’s on the smaller end of plus size and is really “normal” sized. I’m happy to see someone in between the stick and the plus size – because lots of girls are “normal” sized and therefore fall in between and are often forgotten.

Thank you for this statement – finally someone speaks the truth.

But eating disorders come from many other stupid things in life to – it’s a very hard battle to beat one – I am 37 and still not over it.
