I’ve always been kind of curious what these “reality TV” stars are making on the shows that appear to have no reality element. I mean, that have to be getting paid something. E! Online is answering all of our questions, and tells us what the lovely folks on MTV’s “The Hills” are earning.

Well, Lauren “L.C.” Conrad does get to operate ongoing hot war with Heidi Montag in the pages of Us Weekly every week, free of charge. If that’s not a fine compensation, I don’t know what is. Oh, wait. Yes, I do. How about an estimated $10,000 to $25,000 per episode? That’s the general industry range for top reality stars such as Conrad, Montag, wannabe K-Fed or Spencer Pratt.

This makes me hate these shows even more, and yet somehow I continually get sucked in.

It’s Sean Zastoupil, a male dancer. Yikes. Come on, Lauren. For $10,000 an episode you can do better than that.
