Amy Winehouse finally admitted she and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have serious drug problems after a showdown with their parents. The singer, who collapsed last week after taking a cocktail of heroin, ecstasy, cocaine and the horse tranquilliser ketamine, is now in rehab in the US. The parents set up an intervention, and a fight insued.

“It broke Amy’s heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting.

“That was when she realised the drink and drugs were causing problems for everyone.”

Mr Winehouse was also said to have demanded that Fielder-Civil be fitted with an implant to curb his habit.

Although he refused, 25-year-old Fielder-Civil admitted he had a problem with heroin and cocaine.

But he and Winehouse, 23, both denied injecting heroin.

The source said: “At one point both Amy and Blake stripped to prove they had not been using needles.

Now the two have flown to the US for intensive counselling and detox treatment after seeing a leading Harley Street doctor recommended by Amy’s pal, former wild child Kelly Osbourne. Amy Winehouse in rehab, shocker.
