Not that she would’ve listened otherwise, but Rod Stewart has given his blessing to Tommy Lee and Kimberly Stewart to date. This is apparently the result of the 44-year-old Motley Crue drummer trying to court the 27-year-old Kimberly by landing a helicopter on her lawn. Even though his attempt was unsuccessful (those pesky aviation laws), Rod was reportedly impressed.

“I’ve tried some manuevers in my time to pursue a woman, but I’ve got to admit this is a pretty strong move.

“Attempting to land a helicopter in my garden just to impress my daughter is quite something!”

Somehow I don’t think that is what is impressing Kimberly. That’s what I’ve seen, I mean heard, anyway.
