Us Weekly Will Not Mention the Name Paris Hilton Once

Us Weekly Cover

Us Weekly will not show a photo of Paris Hilton, give a mention to her name, or even allude to the city.

“When it came down to it, the staff and I felt what I believe a lot of people in America are feeling. Which is just enormous Paris fatigue,” US Weekly Editor Janice Min.

Min conceded this was not an easy task. Editors went through the mag thoroughly to make sure there were no “off-hand” mentions of the freed hotel heiress.

Min expects the magazine to do just fine without Paris in it and says Paris’ “time with US Weekly has moved on.” Apparently, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Suri still have some time left so look for Suri to don the cover this week.

Let’s all start the countdown to see how long this “vow” lasts. I’m giving it two weeks, or one drunken flashing.
