Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own - Video

By Allie | June 25, 2007

Directed by David LaChapelle, the clip was shot in the heart of Hollywood.

I’m really liking her music, she’s just a little hard to look at, at times.

What a piece of shit this video is. Boring, uninteresting, lazy waste of $150,000

although she’s great, if you remove her vocal from this track, this song is basically the track for “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, right down to the structure, the chords & the production choices — except Winehouse’s melody is far weaker than the melody for “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”.

Maybe there’s a karaoke version out there of either song. If you can find one for “Ain’t No Mountain…”, then go ahead and sing Amy’s melody from “Tears Dry…” over it, and you’ll see what i mean!
